Tell me about your vehicles, bikes, karts and collection?

CARS

  • I bought a 1966 911 right out of college (1979) and started my passion for sports cars. I’ve owned 6 911s over the years and last year sold my Twin Turbo and bought a Ford GT. The GT is my favorite car of all. My daily driver has been a BMW M5 going back to a 1988 model and I presently drive a 2006. I do not have any track experience except for weekend courses like the Porsche Driving Experience (David Murray was my instructor: cool guy, but after he took me for a few hot laps in my Turbo 911, he made me realize how little I knew about performance driving) and the BMW M School.

Motorcycles

  • I have had sport bikes and cruisers over the years and today I ride a Harley Screaming Eagle Roadking. I spend a lot of time riding with my brother.

OFF ROAD

  • I am a member of the National Hummer Club and go to national events and off road my H1 Hummer. It is highly modified and can basically go anywhere. I also have a Jeep Wrangler for a similar purpose.

Tell me about your driving experience, ok to have none!

No driving or racing experience

What do you do for a living? Title? Company?

I am President of EnVision, LLC which is a small manufacturers rep company specializing in semiconductors and covering the Southeast market. I am also co-owner of International Display Consortium and we specialize in LCD display for avionics and industrial applications.

What city or state do you reside?

I am from Macon, GA and moved to Atlanta to attend Georgia Tech and I am an Electrical Engineer. I live in Johns Creek.

How will you use this membership? Business? Pleasure?

Regarding AMP, fundamentally, I joined the club to have a legal venue to drive fast.

What do you like most about AMP?

I am also interested in driving schools and pursuing amateur racing.

Why did you join the club?

I actually know very little about AMP and I made the decision based on your website Sunday night after seeing the press release email. But, I have been reviewing places like VIR and jumped at the chance to be a part of a local establishment.
