Tell AMP about your vehicles, bikes, karts and collection?I currently have two, although after talking to Jeremy and Burt, my guess is that by the fall I will have a fairly low budget and durable dedicated track car for AMP.
Tell AMP about your driving experience, ok to have none!I don't have much driving experience, although I've always been crazy for cars. I spent a lot of time at Lime Rock in the 80's as a fan. I took a 2 day High Performance class at RoadAtlanta in 2010 and am going to Sebring in early March for a 3 day class in the Formula Skip Barber. So, I'm a novice. What do you do for a living? Title? Company?I'm currently not working, on sabbatical I say. I have a strong sales and marketing background in entrepreneurial areas and non-profit enterprises. Where do you live, City and State?I reside in Canton, GA, near the Milton line. How will you use this membership? Business? Pleasure?I would use this membership for pleasure at this time. Why did you join the club?I joined the club because this is something I have wanted to do my whole life and I'm fortunate now that I have the financial resources to do so. I believe that this club will be an enormous success, so it was an easy decision to buy now during the construction phase. I plan to be in this area for the rest of my life, and to enjoy many, many days of fun and camaraderie up there! What do you like most about AMP?I like the concept of AMP because it is within a 45 minute drive of my house, and I can learn to drive a world class course on my schedule and at my speed. I have a busy weekend schedule with my wife and children, so doing track events around the Southeast through Chin and other organizations doesn't fit my schedule. As well, it is hard to make friends doing things a weekend here and there. As a member of AMP I will get to meet and know other members, to learn more about driving/racing, preparing cars and such Anything else you would like to add?Nothing really to add to other members or to say, just really looking to make some friends in the car world, to learn to drive well and maybe do some road trips now and then as well. |
